Bye Bye TRL

After ten years of music television, MTV has Canceled there Total Request Live music Show. TRL was the most current and in-the-moment way to get the very latest pop culture. I enjoyed coming home after school and watching the top ten videos and seeing the celebrity of the day! When I came to Nyc for the first time, the one thing I wanted to do was go to the MTV studio in time square and see TRL live. Fortunately, I was able to see the show and Carson Daily, the most popular Mc on the show. Today, I don't feel like you get to see as many music videos. Now TV is all about reality television. It's about watching other people live their lives. I can see why MTV canceled the show, considering we can get a new CD in five minutes by purchasing or downloading it off the internet and if we wanted to watch videos, just got to youtube.

David Carson

David Carson is an incredible designer. His talent showed early in his childhood and now he has created art through his fingertips. A an artist myself I can only respect his inovative ways to capture things. He started as a college student and a surfer and became an amazing sucess. He ranked as the 9th best surfer in the world. who knew that his career would lead to his masterpiece? He is now the influence of the new generation of graphic designers. Every piece of art he does David is emotionally attached to in some way. He was able to minipulate the way the unconcious makes you think.

Your logo is not your Product

As we have seen lately most companies that we are used to seeing have been changing their logos hoping it will reinvent the company/product. Pepsi for instance is a company that everyone knows of. More recently they have added more beverages onto their list of already carbonated drinks. To add to the change they have changed their logo on the Pepsi can. New logos are not going to increase sale, if anything people aren’t going to recognize it on the shelf. Most people go to products they are comfortable with. Products they know that won’t let them down. Pepsi is taking a big money risk by changing their image now.
To The Next U.S. President: 100 Words for 100 Days:

I saw that people where really responding to this blog and I think this is a great way for people to say what they need.

The first 100 days as president our new guide should be focusing on the people here in America. Forget the other countries that are struggling, start here in the core of the problem. Fix our education, our jobs, our homes, our transportation, and our debt. Make sure the people get cared for before giving out money away to a country that doesn’t even like us or want us there. It’s a waste of time and money. Fix our problem of judgment; make sure our people are created equal before making sure another country is created equal. Keep our allies close.
Someone told me today that this was going to be the most important election of my generation. If that is true, then why did America settle on our candidates? People forget there are more than 2 people running; t here is a third answer to the problem. I never understood why the people of the united states complain about our candidates when there are better ones, just because they don’t have the money the democratic and republican party have doesn’t mean they don’t exist. Take the time to find out who they are, they could be the answer to our problem.
