Hard Times Hit the Art World

In this hard time in our economy, we have been seeing all kinds of companies downsizing. Unfortunately, the art world is take just as big of a toll. People aren't buying paintings, they have to refrain from the theater, they can not purchase extravagant inventions, and businesses aren't hiring new designers. Many galleries are closing and many artist can not pay their employees. So, where does that leave the new generation of artists? How are we going to make a living if no one wants to share our talents and enjoy them. This hard time has set back many talented people to do the everyday job. Our passion is art. I guess now we really can call our selves "starving artists".
